Personal Growth
All Christians are called to grow in their relationship with God through prayer and study.
The Cathedral offers many opportunities for this through public worship, educational offerings, and special programs.
Bible Study
Study of Holy Scripture is an important part of life as a Christian. Increasing knowledge and understanding helps individuals to discern the role of Christ in their daily lives. One group meets Tuesday mornings in the library and another group meets Tuesday evenings. New participants are always welcome.
Spirituality Book Study
This is a book study and discussion group which meets on Thursdays in the library. Various books of spiritual themes are selected throughout the year, exploring ways of adding spiritual depth and meaning to busy lives.
Prayer Chain and Alongsiders
The very devoted group of people making up our prayer "chain" have committed themselves to praying daily for those who have asked for spiritual support for any reason. Alongsiders are shut-ins who are also remembered in daily prayer.
Contemporary Music Eucharist
With special musicians and musical instruments, these Eucharists are offered in Gillett Hall on Sundays (September-May) and in the beautiful garth (outdoors) from June through August. Additional Contemporary Eucharists are offered in Wednesdays in Lent.
