Fellowship

Opportunities for a rewarding social life and interaction with others are plentiful.

Social Life
The Social Life Committee is committed to providing a wide variety of programs with numerous opportunities to interact with fellow church members, Cathedral visitors and friends. These programs enable parishioners to become better acquainted with one another. Many entertainment and hospitality events are held throughout the year.

CORD
Christians On the Road to Damascus (CORD) is a group for all single people; men and women, divorced, widowed or never married. The name reflects the on-going journey back to God. The acronym CORD also means "any force acting as a tie or bond." Baptism unites us, as sisters and brothers in Christ, and together we move forward. CORD includes opportunities for fellowship such as potlucks, picnics, theater events, and trips.

St. Martha's Guild/Episcopal Church Women
Episcopal Church Women (ECW) unites the women of the parish in a program of worship, fellowship, study and service. St. Martha's Guild is completely self-supporting, raising funds through receptions served. The proceeds from these events are used for projects chosen by the Guild members. In May and December, care packages filled with cookies, candy and small gifts are mailed to college students living away from home. St. Martha's Guild meets every month (except during Lent and summer) for a catered meal, a short meeting and  program.

Men's Fellowship Group
The group is open to all men of the Cathedral, meeting monthly from September through June. Meetings are held in the cathedral early in the evenings, beginning with a social hour followed by dinner and fellowship. There is no formal agenda, just an informal gathering for the men of the Cathedral to get to know each other better.

Foyer Groups
Foyer groups are small gatherings of parishioners who get together about every four to six weeks to share a simple meal and conversation. Joining a foyer group is an excellent way to get to know others within the congregation.
