                    Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain is a group of parishioners whose mission is to pray for people who have immediate and long term needs. Anyone can place a person on the prayer chain list. We are able to contact prayers members who can immediately begin to act as intercessors for those in need. We also remember those shut-ins, whom we call Alongsiders, as people who have long term situation. To become members of the Prayer Chain or to ask that persons be included on our prayer list, please call Tom Sturm (266-7775) or Nina David (688-1639).

                    Parish Care Team

The Parish Care Team was commissioned for the following purposes: to visit parishioners at home upon returning from the hospital, to send cards, notes, deliver flowers and Christmas gifts to those living alone and in retirement and nursing homes. It is a caring ministry and we are always appreciative of more help

                    Pastoral Care, Spiritual Direction

Talking with someone in times of change, decisions or crisis is helpful in our life’s journey with God and often averts future problems. We are created to be community and to bear one another’s burdens. These services are available to individuals upon request by trained and experienced staff, both clergy and lay. For more information, contact Nancy Wheeler (688-3436).

                    Emergency Food Pantry

The emergency food pantry is to provide emergency food supplies to needy individuals and families. The number of families and individuals served averages about 26 per month. The program is supported by parishioner contributions of both food and money.
